Therapy in Manatee County, Florida
Therapy for people who want something a little more human.
Maybe you know exactly what you want help with, or maybe you just know something feels off. You’ve been overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in the same patterns, or questioning a relationship, a decision, or what you actually want next.
Therapy gives us somewhere to start making sense of it. Grounded in Grace Collective offers relational, person-centered therapy in Manatee County, Florida, including Walk & Talk Therapy and four-hour Beach Therapy Intensives for people who want the option of doing therapeutic work outside of a traditional office.
Therapy doesn’t have to look one particular way.
Some people feel completely comfortable sitting across from a therapist and talking. Others find that they think more clearly when they’re moving, feel more settled when they’re outside, or simply want therapy to feel a little less clinical and more connected to the way they actually move through the world.
My approach is relational and person-centered, with attention to your experiences, relationships, patterns, values, and the different parts of your life that may be affecting how you feel. We can work with what’s happening right now while also getting curious about what might be underneath it.
We’re not just looking at symptoms. We’re looking at you and the bigger picture around them.
Walk & Talk Therapy in Manatee County
Sometimes talking is easier when you’re not sitting still.
Walk & Talk Therapy allows us to meet outdoors and walk side by side while we talk. There’s no required pace, and it isn’t a workout. We can walk slowly, stop, sit, or let the session take whatever shape feels comfortable that day.
For some people, movement takes a little pressure out of therapy. Being outside gives you something to notice, somewhere to look, and a little more space while we make sense of what’s happening internally.
It’s still therapy; just in a setting that can feel more natural.
Beach Therapy Intensives in Manatee County
Some things deserve more than the last ten minutes of a session.
Beach Therapy Intensives offer four hours of dedicated therapeutic time in a beach setting. Instead of getting somewhere important and realizing our time is almost up, we have room to stay with the conversation and see where it takes us.
During those four hours, we might walk, sit, talk, reflect, or take breaks. You might use the time to work through a transition, relationship pattern, grief, a difficult decision, questions about identity or meaning, or something you’ve been carrying for a long time.
You don’t need to arrive with four hours’ worth of things prepared to say. The point is having enough time that we don’t have to rush.

What can we work on together?
You don’t need to fit what you’re experiencing neatly into one category before reaching out. Therapy might include exploring anxiety and overwhelm, relationship or family patterns, grief and loss, life transitions, identity and self-esteem, boundaries and people-pleasing, stress and burnout, difficult decisions, or patterns you understand but still can’t seem to change.
There can also be room for the bigger questions; your values, what gives your life meaning, what you believe, and what you want this part of your life to look like.
And sometimes you don’t know what the thing is yet. “I don’t feel like myself lately” is enough of a place to begin.
A grounded, holistic approach to therapy.
You’re more than whatever happens to be bothering you right now. My work is grounded in clinical training while making room for the broader context of your life: your relationships, experiences, physical responses, environment, identity, values, and the things that help you feel connected to yourself.
That might mean traditional conversation. It might mean noticing what’s happening in your body, exploring an expectation you’ve been carrying, understanding why the same pattern keeps showing up, or walking outside while we talk.
There isn’t one way therapy needs to look. We’ll figure out what makes sense for you.
