About Irene

Trauma-Informed Therapist in Florida & Wyoming

If you’re here, you’re probably trying to understand something; about yourself, your past, or why things feel the way they do.

I’m Ragna Irene White, though I go by Irene.

I believe healing happens best in spaces where you can be fully yourself, without pressure, without pretense. I earned my Master of Social Work from Southeastern University and am a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern in Florida and a Provisional Clinical Social Worker in Wyoming, under supervision in both states. My approach is person-centered, empowering, and rooted in authenticity. I strive to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported as you navigate life’s challenges and growth.

I am the author of Blessings Through Brokenness, a faith-based book that reflects my own lived experiences and journey through adversity. While my work is trauma-informed, my focus is not on labeling or limiting you by your past, but on helping you move forward with clarity, strength, and purpose.

In addition to traditional therapeutic approaches, I incorporate holistic and integrative techniques, including Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT tapping), and have additional training in supporting individuals with OCD. I believe in meeting each client where they are and walking alongside them (literally and figuratively) through their healing process.

I take an authentic and transparent approach to therapy, creating a space where real growth can happen.

How I Approach Therapy

My approach is person centered, trauma-informed, holistic & integrative.

That might look like:

  • understanding how past experiences are still affecting you

  • noticing patterns in relationships and emotions

  • reconnecting with your body (not just overthinking everything)

  • having space to be honest without needing to explain things perfectly

I also bring in more holistic elements: like movement, reflection, and mindfulness; so therapy doesn’t just stay in your head.

What This Work Is (and Isn’t)

This isn’t about quick fixes or surface-level coping.

It’s about understanding what you’ve been carrying; and what it might look like to move through your life differently.

I offer therapy for individuals in Florida and Wyoming, with a focus on trauma, healing, and long-term change that actually shows up outside of sessions.

Outside of Therapy

Outside of sessions, I’m drawn to things that help people feel more grounded; being outside, moving, and reconnecting.

You’ll often find me walking, near water, or exploring more holistic ways of supporting well-being.

Why This Work Matters

I work a lot with people who have experienced childhood trauma, sexual abuse, or abandonment.

Those experiences don’t just stay in the past; they show up in how you think, relate, and move through your life.

Therapy is where we start to untangle that.

If you’re looking for therapy in Florida or Wyoming that feels grounded, honest, and actually helpful, I’d be glad to connect.
